Pokémon Scarlet/Violet and Pokémon Ruby to feature this weekend in SpeedDocsAThon speedrunning marathon in support of Save the Children

The SpeedDocsAThon (SDAT) speedrunning marathon, hosted by Speed Docs, is raising money for Save the Children across two weekends. The second half will take place from September 1st to September 3rd, and feature runs of both Pokémon Scarlet/Violet, and Pokémon Ruby, with runners attempting to complete the games, or a specific objective within the game, as fast as possible. The event can be watched from their Twitch Channel.

Speed Docs is a community created by CCNeverender and CJitsallGewd with a focus on making speedrun documentaries. They have hosted the SDAT speedrunning event since 2020, and have raised thousands of dollars for Save the Children from donations and purchases made from their store. Save the Children is an international, non-government operated organization who for more than 100 years have worked to help improve the lives of the world's most vulnerable children. Operating across 116 countries, Save the Children offer assistance to children through facilitating better educational opportunities, better health care, and improved economic opportunities.
