Galactic Awakening Villain Event returns to Pokémon Masters EX for its third re-run, will continue through to January 31st

Hot on the heels of the Dreams of the Void Villain Event re-run which began earlier this week, the Galactic Awakening Villain Event, which originally ran in February 2022 together with the conclusion of the Sinnoh arc of the Villain chapter, is making its own return to Pokémon Masters EX until January 31st, at 9:59pm (PST). This is the third time the event has been re-run.

Villain Event: Galactic Awakening
Focused on Team Galactic, Galactic Awakening continues the story from Dreams of the Void, with players facing off against Cyrus in an effort to foil his plans for Paiso.

In this event, players can obtain Palkia Crystals, which can be used to obtain a Cyrus & Palkia Power Boost item, which adds new tiles to the pair's sync grid when used. Players will also receive Event Voucher E items for completing battles in this event, which can be redeemed in the Exchange Items menu for a variety of items including 5★-Guaranteed Scout Tickets and 5★-Guaranteed Sinnoh Scout Tickets, amongst others. With the exception of the Cyrus & Palkia power boost, Players will be able to obtain all of these rewards even if they have previously completed the Villain Event during any of its previous three runs. Players who earn a second Cyrus & Palkia power boost will instead receive a 3★ Power-Up.

Unlike regular Story Events, this Villain Event does not include any lineup bonuses to increase battle rewards. There are however special bonuses for Sinnoh Sync Pairs, who will have increased Attack, Defense, Special Attack and Special Defence when used in missions for this event, giving them an easier time in completing stages.

Players should also note the following when playing this event:

• To participate, players must have completed Main Story Chapter 1: The More the Merrier (Normal) in single-player.
• The sync pairs that appear as opponents in battle have different capabilities than those players can actually obtain.
• The number of plays available for Daily Extreme Battle 1 are reset every day at 10:00 p.m. (PST)
• All mission completion rewards must be claimed within three days of the mission period ending.
• When the exchange period for this event ends, leftover Event Voucher E and Palkia Crystal items will be converted into coins (10 coins per voucher) and sent to each player's Present Box.
