Pokémon Sleep celebrates the New Year with another week long in-game event, starting Monday January 1st - Version 1.0.16 update now live

Pokémon Sleep might be designed to help people get better sleep, but players certainly aren't going to be getting any rest from events in the near future. Hot on the heals of the Holiday 2023 — Double Dream Shard Research event that's currently running in-game, a New Year 2024 event will begin starting Monday January 1st, giving increased Sleep EXP to player's Pokémon, as well as bonus sleep points. Pokémon Sleep has also received an update this week to Version 1.0.16, which applies unspecified minor bugfixes to the game.

Pokémon's Project VOLTAGE Hatsune Miku collaboration continues, with Jin's JUVENILE premiering today, December 22nd, at 6:30pm (JST) / 9:30am (UTC)

Project VOLTAGE, the special art and music collaboration project between Pokémon and the popular Volcaloid character Hatsune Miku, will soon be releasing its final music video for 2023, with the music video for JUVENILE / 初音ミク feat. じん (JUVENILE / Hatsune Miku featuring Jin) set to premiere on Jin's official YouTube channel this Friday, December 22nd, at 6:30pm (JST) / 9:30am (UTC) / 1:30am (PST).

Pasio Special Stadium Vs. Champion Leaf launches in Pokémon Masters EX, will run through to January 3rd

The latest Pasio Special Stadium event has now launched in Pokémon Masters EX, featuring battles against Champion Leaf. In this event, which will run until January 3rd, 2024, at 9:59pm (PST), players will challenge a team comprised of Flint, Malva, Shauntal, and Olivia, lead by Champion Leaf from the 4 year anniversary celebrations earlier this year. All five of these trainers share the same Water-type weakness. Updates have also been made to scoring for the Pasio Special Stadium.

Roaring Black Rayquaza - Pokémon Horizons Episode 33 Review - Amethio Battles Rayquaza

This week's episode of Pokémon Horizons treated us to a beatdown, with Amethio getting totally wiped by Rayquaza, in humiliating fashion. Silly Amethio, did you really think you have the power to defeat a legendary? I do wonder why Rayquaza showed up though. It seemed like he wasn’t as chummy towards Terapagos as the other Hero Pokémon were. Does it not like Terapagos for some reason?

Make sure to catch Pokémon GO's Winter Wonderland event, along with the Wyrdeer Raid Day, running in-game from December 23rd

Niantic earlier this week released details for two events to be held next weekend in Pokémon GO. The Winter Wonderland event, running from December 23rd at 10:00am to December 24th at 8:00pm local time; and the final Raid Day event of the year, featuring the Pokémon GO debut of the Big Horn Pokémon Wyrdeer, which will be held on December 23rd, running from 2:00pm to 5:00pm local time.

Don't miss this year's Winter Holiday events in Pokémon GO, starting next Monday December 18th

Niantic this week have announced the details of this year's Winter Holiday events in Pokémon GO. In part 1, which will run from December 18th, at 10:00am to December 25th, at 10:00am local time, Cetoddle, Cetitan, Pikachu wearing holiday attire, and Raichu wearing holiday attire will eacj be making their Pokémon GO debut. Part 2, which runs from the end of Part 1 through until December 31st, at 8:00pm local time, will see the debut of Psyduck wearing holiday attire, Golduck wearing holiday attire, and Shiny Vanillite.

Pokémon's Project VOLTAGE Hatsune Miku collaboration continues, with Giga's Gatchū! releasing this Friday at 6:30pm (JST) / 9:30am (UTC)

Project VOLTAGE, the special art and music collaboration project between Pokémon and the popular Volcaloid character Hatsune Miku, will soon be releasing the seventh of 18 music videos, with Gatchū (ガッチュー!) featuring Hatsune Miku, Kagamine Rin, and Kagamine Len, from Vocaloid producer Giga. The song's title translates in English roughly as Gotchu!. The music video for the song will premiere this Friday, December 15th, at 6:30pm (JST) / 9:30am (UTC) / 1:30am (PST).

Pokémon Scarlet & Violet updated to Version 3.0.0 alongside release of The Indigo Disk, bringing small quality of life adjustments and bugfixes

Pokémon Scarlet and Violet received an update to Version 3.0.0 today alongside the release of The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero Part 2: The Indigo Mask. In addition to updates associated with the addition of the new DLC, this update makes a few small additional changes, adjusting the difficulty of the Ogre Oustin' minigame introduced in The Teal Mask, and fixing a small selection of bugs.

Pokémon Sleep to receive maintenance on December 14th ahead of Version 1.0.15 update, new patch to introduce daily gift rewards

Pokémon Sleep will enter a maintenance period this week on Thursday December 14th, ahead of a planned update of the software to Version 1.0.15. This maintenance period is expected to last for roughly 4 and a half hours, from 1:00am until 5:30am (UTC). This update will implement several features and adjustments from the list released by the developers last week.
