Today's updates on the Pokémon Trading Card Game's official Japanese homepage and YouTube channel have revealed most of the remaining new cards from the upcoming Wild Force and Cyber Judge expansions for the Scarlet & Violet series of the Pokémon Trading Card Game, which are being release in Japan next week on January 26th. Cards from these sets will be released internationally later this year as part of the Scarlet & Violet - Temporal Forces expansion on March 22nd.

Next week on January 23rd, the Pokémon Trading Card Game Live will be receiving an update to Version 1.10.0 ahead of the release of Scarlet & Violet - Paldean Fates on January 25th. This update will resolve a large quantity of issues impacting on both gameplay, and general app stability both in and out of matches. This update will be preceded by an 8 hour long maintenance window, which according to the in-game notification is scheduled to start at 8:00am (PST) / 4:00pm (UTC) on January 23rd.

Today's livestream on the Pokémon Trading Card Game's official Japanese YouTube channel has officially unveiled the Full Art SR version of the Eri Supporter Card, which will be released in Japan at the end of next week on January 26th as part of the Wild Force expansion for the Scarlet & Violet series of the Pokémon Trading Card Game. With today's announcement of the Scarlet & Violet - Temporal Forces expansion, we also now finally have an official date for the start of the next Pokémon Trading Card Game Standard Format Rotation. The 2024 Standard format will begin for in-person events on April 5th, and will come into force for online play in the Pokémon Trading Card Game Live app from March 21th. From these dates, cards with the "E" regulation mark will no longer be legal for play in Standard format, with players only able to use cards with the "F", "G", and "H" regulation marks (and any future released marks), or which have received reprints with those marks. Cards will become legal for tournament play two weeks after their international release date.

The next Pokémon Trading Card Game expansion in the Scarlet & Violet series, Temporal Forces, has finally been officially announced by The Pokémon Company International. This expansion, which is releasing on March 22nd, will be the international equivalent of Japan's Wild Force and Cyber Judge expansions, which are scheduled for release on January 26th this year. It's not yet known if all of the cards from those sets will make it over to Scarlet & Violet - Temporal Forces internationally, or if some will only see release in later sets.

Following on from the reveal of the Wild Force and Cyber Judge expansions for the Pokémon Trading Card Game during the Day 1 stream for the Pokémon Champions League tournament in Kyoto, the Day 2 stream today has revealed an additional selection of cards from the upcoming sets. Also announced today were Ancient Koraidon ex and Future Miraidon ex box sets, which will release in Japan on the same day as these new sets, on January 26th, 2024.

As part of the Day 1 live stream for this weekend's Pokémon Champions League tournament in Kyoto, Pokémon TCG fans have received their first official look at the upcoming Wild Force and Cyber Judge expansions for the Pokémon Trading Card Game, scheduled for release in Japan on January 26th, 2024. This expansion will see the return of ACE SPEC cards, as first announced earlier this year during the Pokémon World Championships Closing Ceremony.

Next week on December 5th, the Pokémon Trading Card Game Live will be receiving an update to Version 1.9.2. This update will resolve a small number of issues that had been impacting on several cards, most notably problems in the application of Toedscruel's Slime Mold Colony Ability, and the longstanding bug where Zoroark's Phantom Transformation ability will show the player multiple card selection screens. This update will be preceded by an 8 hour long maintenance window, scheduled to start at 8:00am (PST) / 4:00pm (UTC) on December 5th.

The Pokémon Latin America International Championships of the 2023 to 2024 Play! Pokémon season took place in São Paulo in Brazil from 17 to 19 November which was the first International Championships event of the season. The Top 8 players of each division have been confirmed by the Pokémon Company International. The most popular Pokémon in teams for Pokémon GO and VGC and the most popular deck archetypes and their percentages of popularity on Day 2 of the Latin America International Championships were also shown in the livestream on the Official Pokémon YouTube Channel.
